Roberta Ricucci is Associate Professor, specialized in Sociology of Islam and Sociology of Migration. She is also Research Affiliate at the Center for the Study of Religion and Society of the University of Notre Dame (US). She had been visiting research fellow in several prestigious Universities, as Princeton (US), Monash, Western Australia (Australia). She has been chair of the cluster of Sociology of Religion in the European Sociological Association, and is currently board member and program chair of the Society of Anthropology of Religion in the American Anthropological Association. As an expert in migration and religious issues in Mediterranean areas, Roberta is currently leading various international projects, such as a general PI (Horizon 2020) and national leader (Templeton). She has a broad record of publications focussed on religious integration in the diaspora, migrations, identity-building processes and religious pluralism management. In 2018 she was positively evaluated to serve as Full Professor.
