The University of Sassari is hosting the international conference of the One Humanity—One Planet Research Interest Group,, from June 21 to June 24, 2023. The conference addresses a vision of one interconnected humanity sharing the same planet, and the global social justice issues resulting from the systemic destruction and oppression of its people and their habitat. Other institutions collaborating with the project include Benedictine University and the Italian Association of Sociology (Sections: Social Policy and Gender Studies).
